What is a subtitle translator?
A subtitle translator takes an existing caption file, like an SRT or VTT, and rewrites the text lines into another language while keeping every timestamp and time block in its original place. It does not transcribe audio or create captions from scratch, it converts existing subtitles into a new language.
Only the spoken text is translated. The subtitle numbering, the start and end times, and the line structure stay byte-for-byte aligned with the source, so the result drops straight back into any video player or editor without re-syncing.
